Participants:The event was an overwhelming success and witnessed participation of around 225 internal and external participants (51 Teams).
Benefit: Imagining, thinking, posing questions and coming up with an outcome as a model. Exposure to technology, exchange of ideas, sharing of innovative thoughts and ideas by the evaluators.
Brief about The Program: The inauguration program was started with Invocation song by Smitha Adiga, 1st year, CSE, followed by customary lamp lighting as an official mark of inauguration. Abhishek MS, Student, 1st year, CSE Dept. welcomed invitees, student participants and faculty.
Dr. Vatsala G.A. briefed about the Event and the Journey of the Science Forum. The chief guest Mr. Yashasvinag N and Guest of Honour Mr. V Ravindra encouraged and motivated the participants by their precious words.
Dean Academics Dr. Sumitra Devi KA address about significance of the project competition. Dr. B.R. Lakshmikantha in his presidential address motivated the participants and wished them good luck. He even appreciated the staff and management for taking an initiative towards the science and technology.
About The Competition: The State Level Competition was open for all the 1st year engineering students. It was divided into few categories such as App Designing, Gaming, 3 R’s, Mathematical Models, Robotics, Safety Awareness and Energy sources. We received 51 registrations with projects such as Surveillance Robot, Soil Moisture Sensor to conserve water, Frictionless Breaking system, CNC Plotter, Home automation, Colour Intensity Detector, Tidal Energy and many more unique and interesting projects. Smart Car Parking with app was designed and developed by student coordinators was inaugurated. It was a very healthy and tough competition. Attractive cash prize given along with participation certificate.
